Common Brown Snake
Pseudonaja textilis
This one is about 1.5m long. Venom is 12.5 times as toxic as the Indian Cobra, see http://www.venomsupplies.com/toxicity/. Note how it has a relatively small head typical of venoumous snakes as against the Diamond Python which has the broad python like head. The brown is constantly on the move so you have to be quick to photograph it... and quick to get out of its way too.
