Lace Goanna
Varanus varius
A Brushtail Possum (Trichosurus vulpecula) joins the food chain at the behest of a Lace Goanna.
The photo was taken about 15m from my WIRES possum release aviary so I suspect the Brushie is the one I released a few weeks back. I no longer opperate a possum release avery. Goannas and Powerful Owels were hanging around waiting for easy pickings.
